The Black Talent Initiative (BTI) is a charitable social impact organization committed to cultivating an inclusive community where Black talent thrives, and empowering their journey through meaningful opportunities.
BTI was actioned in response to the murder of George Floyd and the global rise of the Black Lives Matter movement. It was born from shared compassion, lived experience, and a collective resolve to confront anti-Black racism. We imagined a future rooted in diversity, equity, inclusion, and a true sense of belonging.
Our vision is clear: to build an environment where Black individuals are not only welcomed but celebrated for their unique skills, experiences, and contributions.
We do this by uniting a diverse, influential network of Black and allied professionals, industry leaders, changemakers, and partners, creating space to learn, connect meaningfully, and co-create sustainable initiatives that challenge and transform systems of inequality.

To challenge anti-Black racism and dismantle systemic barriers, while fostering a vibrant and supportive ecosystem that empowers Black individuals to thrive.
To foster an environment where Black individuals are not only welcome, but celebrated for their unique skills, experiences, and contributions.
Through targeted events and initiatives, strategic partnerships, and experiential thought leadership, we serve as facilitators of connections, empowering Black talent on their journey to advancement.
We lead with integrity—upholding our principles and acting ethically as we work to fulfill our mission. Our commitment is to do what’s right, even when it’s not easy.
We champion equity by recognizing and addressing the systemic barriers that have limited access and advancement for Black individuals. Our approach is rooted in fairness, justice, and the pursuit of meaningful, lasting change.
We believe in the power and potential of Black talent. By providing tools, opportunities, and support, we empower individuals to break barriers, reach new heights, and realize what once seemed unimaginable.
We offer a purposeful organizational model designed to foster dialogue, promote education, and build a united community mobilized for meaningful, lasting change.
