More Than a Network
BTI is a registered Canadian charity built to challenge anti-Black racism and dismantle the systemic barriers that limit access and advancement for Black professionals. Since 2021, we've connected over 1,100 individuals with career development, leadership events, and a community that compounds over time.
Membership is how we sustain that work. It funds the events, the career portal, the ERG programming, and everything that keeps the network running. Every membership makes it stronger: more events, more connections, and more opportunities for Black professionals across Canada.

Membership is billed annually. All memberships renew on August 1 (Emancipation Day in Canada). Once you submit your application, our team will follow up with an invoice and onboarding details within 2 business days.
Yes. You can upgrade at any time and we’ll prorate the difference for the remainder of your membership year.
Circle memberships are single-seat for individual professionals. Advocate and above cover your entire organization. Event passes are allocated per tier.
Circle members under 25 pay $30/year instead of $120. Just select the under-25 option when you apply.
Every BTI member gets a flat 20% off all BTI events: IGNITE, Navigate, Juneteenth, Unbounded, and any future events. This replaces the previous tiered discount and complimentary ticket structure.
