What is
Unbounded?
UNBOUNDED is Black Talent Initiative's annual gathering commemorating Emancipation Day in Canada. Each year, we come together to honour the legacy of those who expanded the possibilities of freedom—not only by breaking barriers, but by creating new pathways and opportunities for generations to come.
Through inspiring conversations, powerful storytelling, and meaningful connection, UNBOUNDED celebrates Black excellence while challenging us to imagine bigger, lead boldly, and shape the future together.
The Freedom to Become
The Freedom to Become is a call to move beyond what is expected, beyond what is familiar, and beyond what others have imagined for us. Inspired by the generations who created pathways where none existed, we gather to honour their legacy by continuing the work of building, creating, leading, and becoming.
Together, we celebrate the freedom to shape our own futures and redefine what is possible—for ourselves, our communities, and the generations that follow.
As we commemorate Emancipation Day, we recognize that freedom is more than the removal of barriers. It is the opportunity to imagine boldly, pursue purpose with confidence, and create lasting impact. UNBOUNDED 2026 is an invitation to embrace that freedom and to become the leaders, innovators, creators, and changemakers our future needs.

Unbounded 2026 will be held at MH3 Collective, a vibrant creative space in the heart of Toronto's Entertainment District. Located on the 6th floor of 366 Adelaide St. West, the venue offers a modern, versatile setting for reflection, connection, and empowerment.
MH3 Collective is located on the traditional territory of the Mississaugas of the Credit First Nation, the Anishinaabe, the Haudenosaunee Confederacy, and the Wendat peoples. Today, Toronto is home to many diverse First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples.
